Ethioipa

Ethiopia (/ˌiːθiˈoʊpiə/; Amharic: ኢትዮ
ጵያ?, ʾĪtyōṗṗyā, About this sound listen (help·info)), officially known as the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, is a country located in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Eritrea to the north and northeast, Djibouti and Somalia to the east, Sudan and South Sudan to the west, and Kenya to the south. With about 87.9 million inhabitants,[3] Ethiopia is the most populous landlocked country in the world, as well as the second-most populated nation on the African continent. It occupies a total area of 1,100,000 square kilometres (420,000 sq mi), and its capital and largest city is Addis Ababa.[2] Some of the oldest evidence for modern humans is found in Ethiopia,[9] which is widely considered the region from which Homo sapiens first set out for the Middle East and points beyond.[10][11][12] Tracing its roots to the 2nd millennium BC, Ethiopia was a monarchy for most of its history. During the first centuries of the Common Era the Kingdom of Aksum maintained a unified civilization in the region.

  1. Ethiopia is heading to the right direction. Hopefully, we all have learned from the past mistakes. The past crisis should helps strengthen our collective desire to move our country forward together. Let’s all of us work together to achieve our dream,Nothing is impossible if we want some thing bad enough we can get it,the worst thing that can happen it might take us some time.
Long live Peace for all Let God Bless Ethiopia!

  2. Even though Unity in Diversity idea and related phrase is very old and dates back to ancient times in both Western and Eastern Old World cultures. In Ethiopian perspective I like "Unity in diversity" as a popular motto within and among nation states, and also in political and social movements. I strongly believe that concept of " Unity in Diversity - unity without uniformity and diversity without fragmentation" that shifts focus from unity based on a mere tolerance of physical, cultural, linguistic, social, religious, political, ideological and/or psychological differences towards a more complex unity based on an understanding that difference enriches human interactions.
“ Humanity has but three great enemies: fever, famine, and war; of these by far the greatest, by far the most terrible , is fever. ” ―William Osler
    I thinks so Famine too.
